Events and happenings around Carson City for Friday, Nov. 30
With winter weather having arrived, it seems only appropriate the last Friday of November is when Carson City celebrates the holiday season in a big way by ringing in the spirit of giving with the annual Silver and Snowflakes Festival of Lights.
Festivities begin at 4 p.m. with sleigh rides, followed by Carson City 5th Grade Music Students Singing Ensemble at 5:30 and then the lighting of the Nevada State Capitol and all its trees with an assortment of astonishing festive colors. Go here to read more about it. Bundle up and we will see you downtown.
