Hello Carson City and welcome to Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2019. With snow plow efforts underway and a warm-up from Mother Nature, it looks like the morning commute will be a slushy one. Carson City schools will operate today at normal start times. The first weekend of 2019 also means the first Saturday of the month, which is the day of the Downtown Business Association Monthly Wine Walk in downtown Carson City, come rain, snow, wind or shine.

CARSON CITY — By Popular Demand Well Being Massage and Functional Fitness will continue to run its Winter Sport Conditioning Program for two more separate 3-week sessions. The winter season is rocking. Will you be? Deer are more visible in Carson City this time of year, but it's not because Santa Claus is coming to town exactly one week from now.
