As we round out the weekend, look for continued cool temperatures, some sunshine during the day and rain later this afternoon turning to snow showers overnight. Lined up for the day is Street Vibrations, a rummage sale to benefit local veterans, Nevada Raider Nation, Carson City Chapter game watch at Jimmy G's, An open house at the historic Wungnema House in Mills Park, KNVC's Summer Concert Series featuring Canyon White and more.

— Street Vibrations Fall Rally in Virginia City (all day). The rally takes place at 86 C Street. The Comstock starts rumbling when Virginia City hosts this raucous celebration of music, metal and motorcycles. Thousands of bikers cruise into this historic mining town for good food, live entertainment and plenty of fun.
— Muscle Powered Sunday Bicycle Ride. 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Fremont Elementary School. Meet at Fremont Elementary School in the South parking lot next to the Linear Ditch Trail. Typically, this ride consists of two 10-15 minute loops with varying pace depending on rider level. This is a “no drop” ride so no one will be left behind. All riders must have a bicycle in safe working condition, a helmet, and closed toed shoes. — Rummage sale to benefit Veteran Projects. 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Veterans Hall located at Curry and 2nd St. Sierra Tahoe Auxiliary No. 137 of the Fleet Reserve Association will be holding its annual rummage sale. You determine the price you want to donate for each item. All proceeds benefit veteran projects throughout the year such as Honor Flight & Suicide Prevention, etc.
— Nevada Raider Nation: Carson City Chapter Game Watch. 10 a.m. at Jimmy G’s, 301 N. Carson Street. Nevada Raider Nation, Carson City Chapter will host an Oakland Raiders vs Indianapolis Colts Game Watch at 10 a.m. New fans are welcome to join Chapter members and root on the Oakland Raiders. Jimmy G's will offer drink specials, while members will grill hot dogs for the crowd. Donations to cover the cost of food are accepted. A 50/50 cash drawing will be held as well.
— Voices of the Past in Virginia City. 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Silver Terrace Cemetery, 381 Cemetery Rd. Come see the history of the Comstock come alive! The event is a ghostly walking tour performed by Funtime Theater and raises funds for the cemetery’s restoration.
— Vintage steam train in Virginia City. 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Virginia and Truckee Depot, 166 F Street. Rediscover Nevada’s rich history in mining and mills on the V&T Carson City-Virginia City route as you meander through tunnels, canyons and mining towns aboard a restored 1914 Pullman coach led by a 1916 Baldwin 2-8-0 steam locomotive. This relaxing, all-day train excursion is fully narrated with historical facts and anecdotes. Departing from Carson City’s Eastgate Depot, the 24-mile round-trip tour includes a fun 3.5-hour stopover in historic Virginia City, where you can stroll the boardwalks and explore restaurants, shops, saloons, museums, mines and more.
— Open House at historic Wungnema House in Mills Park featured Sunday. 2 p.m. Stop by the east side of Mills Park today, Sunday, September 29th and visit the historic Wungnema House for the Foundation for Carson City Parks and Recreation’s monthly open house, from 2:00pm to 4:00pm. There is no admission fee for the open house, and all are welcome. The Wungnema House is the stone cottage located on the east side of Mills Park across from Carson High. It was built by a family of skilled Hopi stonemasons shortly after WWII and served as the family’s home until the early 1970s. Learn about the remarkable family of skilled Hopi stonemasons, their work, and continuing legacy. The family was responsible not only for this house, but also many other distinctive homes and structures in and around the Carson City area, including a ranch in Washoe Valley and at least one church at Lake Tahoe.
— Women's Veteran Support Group to meet at Mills Park. 1 to 3 p.m. The newly established Women Veteran's Support Group will meet at Mills Park in Carson City near the Marv Teixeira Pavilion on Sunday, Sept. 29, from 1 to 3 p.m. For more information please contact Lyndia at 775-431-0534.
— Carson Valley Community Center presents 'Moon Over Buffalo'. 2 to 4 p.m. at the CVIC Hall in Minden. Set in Buffalo, New York in 1955, it is a comedic farce about two run down actors, attempting to revive their repertory company while dreaming of their lost careers in Hollywood. Don’t miss this hilarious comedy, with local actors and many behind the scenes volunteers.
— KNVC Summer Concert Series featuring Canyon White. 6 to 7 p.m. at the Minnesota Street Stage. On the Back Porch! at the KNVC radio station in Carson City. Bring your lawn chairs & blankets, a picnic basket & sunscreen to the final summer concert in the FREE series - Canyon White! Rocking...Soulful Music...played from the heart. You will really love this Singer/Songwriter's unique style. The event is from 6 to 7 p.m. on the KNVC back patio, 990 North Minnesota Street. Bring your own lawn chair. This is a free concert.
— Breaking ground installation in Virginia City. 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. at The Donovan Mill, 900 S. Main Street. This event will give interested attendees an immersive exhibit on the boom-or-bust history of America.
