Find some fun this Friday: Sing in the rain, ride the Ferris Wheel, or discover some art

Event Date:
May 11, 2018 (All day)

'Singin in the Rain' is probably one of my favorite movies, but I have no doubt that the Western Nevada Musical Theater Company has taken the classic to new heights. Get tickets now if you'd like to catch their production, they are known for sold-out shows. Funnel cakes, Ferris Wheels, and more are waiting for you at Mills Park. A carnival is a great way to help Mom celebrate her special day. The National Endowment of the Arts has bestowed a grant upon Carson City to help us celebrate the 'Big Read.' All May long, you'll find 'True Grit' style events like book readings, kids crafts, and old-time music. Attend the Public Art Unveiling at Alatte inside the Carson Nugget tonight, and you'll discover the new mural in town reminding us of our connection to the wild west.
