Keith Alan Barnett will be performing songs off his album "Three Days out of Gerlach" as well as many other favorites on Friday, April 12th beginning at 7pm at Polecat Tavern in Carson City.

The Brewery Arts Center in Carson City and For The Song will feature two artists Feb. 3, Addison Agen and Whitney Myer, who both appeared on NBC's "The Voice."

Shakespearian actors will join the Reno Jazz Orchestra to perform the music of Duke Ellington’s “Such Sweet Thunder” concert on November 11 and 12, 2023, at the Good Luck Macbeth theater in Reno. David A. Brennan, DMA, will be the Guest Music Director, and the Reno Jazz Orchestra’s Jazz Workshop students will open the show.

Sierra Arts Foundation, a nonprofit that advocates for arts and the artists that create it within a 200 mile radius of the Reno, Sparks region, is hosting the first Holiday Music and Art Festival in partnership with the Carson City Parks and Recreation department at Silver Saddle Ranch on Nov. 18.

The event runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is free to the public. It will feature artists, vendors, musicians and other nonprofit groups in advance of the holiday season.

On Monday, The Brother Dan Show will feature multi-instrumentalist Jeff Laakso for an afternoon of music and chat. Monday marks the appearance of music industry veteran John Palmore on The Brother Dan Show. This talented keyboardist/singer served as musical director for Bill Pinkney’s “Original Drifters” for many years. That experience led to international touring and playing with artists such as Jackie Wilson, Mary Wells, Wilson Pickett, Percy Sledge, and The Platters.

Powerhouse New Orleans “Folk Rock Diva” and gospel artist, Lilli Lewis, performs a soul-stirring matinee at 2:30pm on Sunday, Nov. 13 following the weekly “Saints and Sinner’s Brunch” at Nashville Social Club in Carson City.

Touring singer-songwriter Tyrone Wells, and his band, will enliven The Swan Music Hall at Nashville Social Club on Wednesday, November 2 at 7:30 pm. Beloved for his heart-stirring lyrics and masterful blend of soul, folk and rock, his legions of fans are thrilled to have him return to Northern Nevada as part of his “Somebody to You” Tour.

Monday, October 31, Brother Dan will feature keyboardist/songwriter Eric Henry Andersen. A founding member of Reno band The Novelists, the casual chat and jam format will give audiences a close-up view into his life and career.

Guitar virtuoso Mick Valentino will be featured on the October 24 episode of The Brother Dan Show, live from the Bank Saloon in Carson City.

The Bank Saloon proudly hosts The Brother Dan Show every Monday. The local music livestream features interviews and music with local musicians and songwriters. This week the show will feature David Macias, who plays saxophone in The Jason King Band.

The acoustic trio “Sure Thing” will appear at the Bank Saloon in Carson City on Friday, Sept. 30. The lineup features local musician Brother Dan Palmer, along with long time musical collaborators Phil Prunier and Jeff Laakso.
