Sunday, Oct. 8: Things to do around Carson City and beyond
It might be a blustery Sunday, but the snow isn’t falling yet so enjoy what’s left of our Indian Summer. Whatever you couldn’t cram into Saturday is probably still around: the Aviation Round-up, Italian Festival, and the Outhouse races are still going strong. The Carson City BMX season is coming to an end soon, go check out their races at Livermore Sports Complex. Find some inner peace in the newly renovated Comma Coffee with Community Yoga or a Heart-ful Gong Meditation session. See the full listing below.

- — Airstreams on the Main: Western Airstream Convention in Downtown Carson City (camper open houses and events all weekend; Carson Street will NOT be closed)
- — Breakfast and Bowling at Carson Lanes (breakfast served 7:30am-11am, unlimited bowling 9am-12pm; $13, $8 kids 8 and younger)
- — Muscle Powered Weekly Bike Ride - Meet in the south parking lot of Fremont Elementary School, next to the Linear Ditch Trail (meet at 8am; consists of two loops 10-15 miles long each, this will allow a rider to do 10-15 miles or 20-30 miles; ride pace will vary depending on rider level, but usually about 12-16 mph; All riders must have a bicycle in safe working condition, helmet, and closed toed shoes. - — Autumn Art Show in the Nevada Artists Association Gallery at the Brewery Arts Center (10am-4pm)
- — Back Wall Show: ‘The Power of Light’ by artists Deborah Stevenson and Deborah Foster in the Nevada Artists Association Gallery at the Brewery Arts Center (10am-4pm)
- — Voices From the Past: Guided Cemetery Walking Tour at the Silver Terrace Cemetery: 381 Cemetery Road, Virginia City (10am-12pm; $15; a ghostly walking tour performed by Funtime Theater to raise funds for the cemetery's restoration)
