'Real Life of College' Seminar
Seminar to be held on Wednesday, Jan. 13, 6 p.m. in the CHS library. College-bound Juniors and Seniors, along with their parents, are invited to attend this informative event. Living on or off campus, meal plans, roommate problems, where to buy books, and whether or not to join a sorority or fraternity are just some of the topics that will be covered. The event is casual, informative, and fun — a night to meet with and learn from CHS grads who are currently in college and can tell you what you really want to know. National Honor Society members can earn a point for attending.

Library Requests
The CHS Library is creating a maker-space for students to socialize, be creative, and challenge themselves. Items wanted: Legos, Rubik's Cubes/handheld puzzles, chess games, etc. If you have items gathering dust, please consider donating to your school library. Contact Mrs. Campbell at CHS 283-1641 or acampbell@carson.k12.nv.us

Carson High School FFA
The Capitol FFA Chapter would like to invite you to participate as a sponsor in the “Beauty in a Basket” program.  The purpose of this program is to enhance the beauty of downtown Carson City by placing hanging flower baskets throughout the downtown corridor.

This year, as in years past, the Capitol FFA chapter has taken on the responsibility of assisting The Greenhouse Project in securing “Beauty in a Basket for Carson City” sponsorships. The Flowers for our hanging baskets are planted, grown, and marketed by Carson High’s Agricultural Science Program, Capitol FFA, and our students with special needs. The hanging baskets have always been a source of pride for the community and this year will be no exception. If you are interested in sponsoring a flower basket, please call 283-1637.

He consistently pushes himself by taking a rigorous course load filled with honors and AP courses as well as courses in pharmacy practice and orchestra. Along with being an outstanding student, Ojo is a talented musician and athlete and committed member of the Carson High School community.
Ojo is involved in many activities and clubs and has become a strong leader.
