Policy changes, debt and purchases to be discussed at Carson City School Board meeting
Submitted by Kelsey Penrose on Thu, 07/04/2019 - 1:41pmThe next Carson City School District School board meeting will be held Tuesday, July 9 in the Sierra Room of the Community Center located at 851 E. William Street. The meeting will begin at 6 p.m.
First item up for discussion will be the possibility of incurring a “bonded indebtedness” on behalf of the school district in an amount not to exceed $13 million.

In all, 25 students were honored with an Outstanding Senior CTE award.

The wind blows, and the trees dance. Cats and dogs run to and fro playing with one another, at least most of the time. Wild animals, though difficult to see at times, are moving about through the forest in search of food. So what is the story here a reader will ask?
CHS students are taking advantage of the beautiful weather, and some of them are going too far with the natural.

Senator Square: Gearing up for the Carson High School talent show
Submitted by editor on Sun, 01/10/2016 - 8:22amThe annual talent show is coming up at Carson High School. The event will take place 7 p.m. Feb. 10 at the Carson Community Center. Auditions for the talent show will be on Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2:05 p.m. in the upstairs cafeteria at CHS. Audition applications can be picked up from room No. 243 or the office. The CHS talent show is only open to ninth through 12th graders at CHS and cash prizes are awarded. The CHS chapter of FBLA is hosting this event. For more information, contact Mrs. Golik at 283-1737.
