Friday fun in Carson City and beyond: Cars, carnivals, comedy and more

School let out and summer wasted no time getting to the fun stuff. This weekend will bring the Revival Car Show and the annual Capital City Brewfest downtown, in addition to a wine walk at the Carson Mall and the Fair/Rendezvous at Mills Park. Today, you can enjoy some live music at Living the Good Life or Bella Vita Bistro, get your karaoke fix at Whiskey Tavern, or head to the Carson Mall for their monthly cruise night.

• — Last Day of Early Voting: All Registered Carson City Voters can go to the County Courthouse: 885 E Musser, First Floor (8am-6pm; Primary Election Day is Tuesday, June 12)
• — Muscle Powered Friday Hike: Carson River West Side to Mexican Dam - Meet at Carson River Park parking area near Carson River Road (TIME CHANGE: 8am-9am; This is a dirt trail with some elevation gain; Participants are responsible for their own transportation to the hike meeting site; All walks require closed-toed shoes and water. Hats, sunscreen and walking sticks are recommended; friendly, leashed dogs welcome)
