A snowy Friday in Carson City: Live music, comedy, and the kick-off to St. Pat’s
Winter may be showing up fashionably late, but she was certain to make an entrance. Schools in Carson City are closed due to the snowfall we received last night, but Carson Valley and Lyon County schools will be open. For the kids of Youth Theater Carson City: the show must go on. Opening night of their musical, ‘Willy Wonka, Jr.’ takes place at the Carson City Community Center tonight. This weekend will be awash in green, as St. Patrick’s Day festivities will be just about everywhere, but there will be some alternatives to check out like a book signing at the State Museum and an open house at Carson City Yoga.
