Victorian fashion, Voting machines, and more: Things to do on Thursday
I really can’t keep up with the changing weather reports around here. I think we are expecting snow, so you’ll want to be ready for anything. Our County Clerk’s office is holding an open house to show off the new voting machines we’ll be using for this year’s elections. The Nevada State Museum hosts a monthly lecture series, and tonight’s topic is Victorian Fashions and Dress Reform. Seating is limited, so you’ll want to call for reservations. The Carson City Symphony performs this Sunday; Stephen Framil, the featured cello soloist will be teaching a masterclass and workshop today. The public is invited to be part of the audience for this special demonstration.
