Wednesday, Dec. 20: Things to do in Carson City

On a morning like this, I realize that I need to ask Santa for some windshield wipers. Stay safe out there, Carson City, the roads are wet. The Carson Library is usually a great place to retreat on days like this, but you’ll find their doors closed for the next few weeks: time for a makeover. If you’d like to check out a book or use the wireless internet, you’ll find a ‘pop-up’ library in the Community Center this week, and in the Adams Hub on Proctor Street next week. Break out your best Santa hat for the Country Dance party at Carson Lanes, or sing your favorite carol during tonight’s karaoke party at Caterpillar’s Hookah Lounge.
