Things to do on Tuesday around Carson City: Concerts, coloring, and canyon trails
It’s Navy Week in Carson City, and that means you’ll have a handful of opportunities to catch performances by various US Navy bands over the next few days. Enjoy their woodwind quintet this afternoon in the Dema Guinn Concourse of the Nevada State Museum. This evening find the US Navy Brass Band in McFadden Plaza performing alongside the talented kids who participated in the Mile High Jazz Camp. Coloring night at the Library is open to everyone; take pencil, marker, or crayon to one of their pages, or bring your own book. Muscle Powered continues their guided hikes with a trip to Mexican Dam this morning, or a more strenuous trek in Kings Canyon this evening.
