Battleborn 1864 Brews, Bikes, and Bubbly features Brewfest, Motor Challenge, music, and more

Battle Born 1864 ‘Brews, Bikes, and Bubbly’ and the Twelve Annual Extreme Motor Officer Training Challenge take place in scenic downtown Carson City on Friday, June 26 and Saturday, June 27 and run in conjunction with the Karson Krusers’ Run Whatcha’ Brung Show and Shine Car Show at Fuji Park.

Enter to win the Mustache competition, the 'Fast Draw' contest, the pin-up girl contest, or the tattoo competition. Meet the Naughty Tea Mistresses, the Carson Victory Rollers Roller Derby Team, and the Nevada Pony Express Riders.

Many local craft brewers and wineries will be participating in the Brewfest, and I.D. checks will be strictly enforced. All-you-can-drink tasting glasses are available at the Official Event Booth on Saturday for $20. Tasting begins at 5 p.m. Saturday. The people's choice awards for best bubbly, brew, booth, and server will be announced at 9 p.m.

Carson Street will be closed between Robinson and Musser during the duration of the event: 9 a.m. Friday until midnight Saturday.

  • 12pm-5pm - Distinct Ink Tattoo and Pin-up Contest Sign-ups at the Nevada Day Information Booth on Carson St.
  • 12pm-5pm - Extreme Motor Officer Challenge practice

  • 5pm-7pm - Extreme Motor Officer Skills Challenge

Streets must be cleared by 11:30pm: All roads will open to through traffic at midnight.

This is a fundraiser for Nevada Day Inc., a 501c3, and the Carson City Sheriff’s Office. Nevada Day, Inc. hosts many events including the Governor’s Banquet and an 1864 costumed Ball. The Nevada Day Parade, Beard Contest, World Champion Rock Drilling Contest, and the downtown festival are annual traditions also funded and coordinated by Nevada Day, Inc.

Funds from the Carson City Sheriff’s Office ‘Extreme Motor Officer Challenge’ will go toward training opportunities held outside of Carson City, with a percentage of proceeds benefiting Northern Nevada’s Make-A-Wish foundation.
