Annual 4-H Fabric Sale Canceled for 2021

The annual sale is traditionally held at Fuji Park Exhibition Hall in late January or early February.
Carson City Parks and Recreation asks for community insight on Fuji Park Master Plan

Child suffers injuries in horse accident at Carson City's Fuji Park

1. Drive-up drop box at the east parking lot of Fuji Park, 601 Old Clear Creek Road (look for the blue tent). 2. Drop box by the east exit of the Carson City Community Center 851 E. William St. (look for the blue tent). 3. At the counter of the Carson City Clerk's office, 885 E. Musser St., Suite 1025.

The seat for Ward 3 is currently held by Supervisor Lori Bagwell, who will be vacating now that she has been elected Carson City’s mayor.

In close coordination with Carson City Health and Human Services, the City Manager’s Office along with City departments in an abundance of caution are coordinating the closure of some offices to take additional measures to slow the spread of respiratory viruses. American Red Cross, Northern Nevada rural counties partner for emergency response exercise

In order to practice and ensure the safety of our residents, the Red Cross of Northern Nevada, in collaboration with emergency management from Carson City, Douglas, Lyon and Storey counties, will set up two simulated shelters next month.
Carson City Parks Department: Fuji Park playground closed for repairs, to reopen sometime in March
Submitted by Kelsey Penrose on Tue, 02/04/2020 - 1:28pmThe Fuji Park playground adjacent to the Fuji Park Dog Park has been closed due to repairs, according to David Navarro, Parks Operations Superintendent from the Carson City Parks, Recreation and Open Space Department, and is set to be reopened sometime in March, although the time frame is dependent on an order of new parts for the playground.

Annual 4-H fabric sale returns in 2020 to Carson City's Fuji Park
Submitted by Carson Now Reader on Sat, 01/18/2020 - 12:52pmThe popular 4-H Fabric sale returns to Fuji Park Exhibit building, 701 Clear Creek Road, Carson City, on Saturday, Feb. 1 and Sunday, Feb. 2.
Sales times for Saturday, Feb. 1 are from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.. Sunday, Feb. 2 , sales times will run from 9 a.m. to noon. Fabrics of all kinds and sewing notions will be available for purchase. Most fabric will be sold for a dollar a yard. All proceeds from the sale will benefit Carson City, Storey County's 4-H Council scholarship funds.
