Jessica Jo Laster was taken into custody in a parking lot off the 4000 block of South Curry Street in South Carson City after Carson City Sheriff's deputies were alerted to her whereabouts in connection with multiple outstanding felony and misdemeanor warrants.

According to the arrest report, a deputy made visual contact with the suspect's vehicle on northbound Carson Street near Koontz Lane. Multiple units made the high-risk traffic stop and issued verbal commands to each of the vehicle's individual occupants.

One male passenger in the vehicle continuously refused to comply with verbal commands, failing to drop an object in his hand and to keep his hands out of the window, the arrest report said. The 25 year-old Dayton man was also yelling obscenities at the officers, the report said.

The man had to be forcefully taken into custody by additional deputies for resisting. He was later booked in the Carson City Jail for misdemeanor obstruction. Bail: $300.

The reporting party, Hall's ex-wife and victim of the domestic battery complaint, said she and the suspect had an argument on the telephone over a bill. Hall showed up at the victim's Imperial Way residence shortly afterward, insisting on taking possession of internet equipment related to the bill dispute.

The victim attempted to block the door with her body to prevent the suspect from entering her residence, according to the arrest report, but Hall responded by pushing her up against a brick wall and then shoved her out of the way of the door.

Hall reportedly entered the residence and took possession of a router unit. He left the apartment before the victim could get on the line with emergency dispatch.

The victim's boyfiend and her daughter both witnessed the battery incident and Hall entering the residence to take the router unit from inside the residence after repeatedly being told by the victim he was not allowed inside.

The reporting party told deputies that the suspect admitted to stealing methadone medications belonging to the other male and that they wanted Rosa out of the house. The male victim pressed charges, filing a complaint for theft, and Rosa was arrested for petit larceny.

A purse and small bag belonging to the suspect were collected and searched prior to transport to the Carson City Jail. The search discovered three prescription bottles prescribed to the victim.
