In a collaborative effort to ensure the safety of all road users as they travel this Labor Day weekend, the California Highway Patrol, Nevada State Police, and Arizona Department of Public Safety are joining forces for a Maximum Enforcement Period. Known as “vacant lot fraud” or “seller impersonation fraud,” bad actors impersonate the owners of a property or vacant lot and attempt to sell it for their own profit.
