Flying Pig Flea Market, June 17-18

Come out to the greatest indoor flea market in Carson City. This will be on June 17 from 8-4 pm and June 18 from 9-4 pm. Lots of great vendors with antiques, arts, crafts and much more. Located on Old Clear Creek road across from Costco at Fuji Park. Admission is $1 for adults and kids are free. We do this once a month on different dates and always have new and different vendors. Carson City Historical Society holds Yard Sales

The Carson City Historical Society will hold yard sales this year on July 8 and August 5. The Saturday only sales will be held at the Foreman-Roberts House park, 1207 N. Carson Street, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

There is space still available for vendors of antiques, collectibles or crafts. The space rental is $25 which supports the Historical Society. The Historical Society will be selling antiques and collectibles from their collection. Donations for the Society to sell will be gladly accepted. Marielle Toll Among Spring Resident Artists in Silver City, Nevada

SILVER CITY, Nev. — Each year, the Resident Artist Program in Silver City hosts at least one emerging artist, in addition to hosting established artists. Sierra Music Society continues its fine Artists In Concert programs with “To Opera, with Love” on Saturday, May 20th at 5 pm. The concert will be at Shepherd of the Sierra Lutheran Church located at 3680 US Highway 395 South in Carson City, NV.

“To Opera, with Love” will feature the lovely soprano Irina Kasimova and baritone/tenor Chris Nelson accompanied by Bryan Chuan.
