Come out to the greatest indoor flea market in Carson City. This will be on June 17 from 8-4 pm and June 18 from 9-4 pm. Lots of great vendors with antiques, arts, crafts and much more. It’s going to be gorgeous all weekend long, and there are plenty of ways to take advantage of the sunny weather. The Carson City Historical Society will hold yard sales this year on July 8 and August 5. The Saturday only sales will be held at the Foreman-Roberts House park, 1207 N. Carson Street, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

There is space still available for vendors of antiques, collectibles or crafts. The space rental is $25 which supports the Historical Society. The Historical Society will be selling antiques and collectibles from their collection. Donations for the Society to sell will be gladly accepted. The Carson Nugget turns up the electricity for Memorial Day weekend, announcing the first concert in their 2017 Summer Concert Series, Volt: A Salute to AC/DC.

Powering up Sunday, May 28, VOLT: A Salute to AC/DC is a hard-hitting, high energy rock band based out of Livermore, Calif, specializing in the music of AC/DC and performances of the albums Back in Black and Powerage, Live.

The Brewery Arts Center is presenting the Rosebud’s Dance Band on Saturday, May 20, 7 p.m. in the Maizie Harris Jesse Black Box Theater. Come out for a fun night of dance and big band music.

If you appreciate great gospel music, you won’t want to miss the internationally acclaimed King’s Heralds as they perform this Saturday, 7 p.m. at the Carson City Seventh-day Adventist church, 405 E. College Parkway.

Three of the premier Celtic harpers in the world take you on a dramatic musical journey deep into the myths, magic and fabled history of this most captivating instrument to close out this season’s Celtic Series at the Brewery Arts Center, this Saturday May 13, 7 p.m. in the BAC’s MHJ Black Box Theater at 411 West King Street.

SILVER CITY, Nev. — Each year, the Resident Artist Program in Silver City hosts at least one emerging artist, in addition to hosting established artists. This year, Marielle Toll, a multi-talented emerging artist, was awarded a residency in the "emerging artists" category. At 18 she is already showing remarkable skill and talent in photography, illustration, and web site design.

An affiliate of the Carson Valley Pops Orchestra, RoseBud's Dance Band plays mostly Big Band era dance, jazz, and swing, with some modern pieces. Bring your dancing shoes!!!

Sierra Music Society continues its fine Artists In Concert programs with “To Opera, with Love” on Saturday, May 20th at 5 pm. The concert will be at Shepherd of the Sierra Lutheran Church located at 3680 US Highway 395 South in Carson City, NV.

“To Opera, with Love” will feature the lovely soprano Irina Kasimova and baritone/tenor Chris Nelson accompanied by Bryan Chuan.
