A 26-year-old Carson City man was arrested Saturday for suspicion of possessing drugs, giving officers a wrong name to avoid arrest and other charges after dispatch received reports of a man dancing in the rain with his shirt off, a Carson City sheriff’s deputy said.

A 41-year-old Gardnerville man was arrested Friday, 11:12 p.m. in the area of East William Street and Rand Avenue for a felony warrant alleging violation of bail conditions, a Carson City sheriff’s deputy said.

A 23-year-old Reno woman was arrested Saturday for felony suspicion of eluding deputies, endangering persons or property, driving under the influence, hit and run of an unoccupied vehicle and driving on a suspended license, a Carson City sheriff’s deputy said.

A recent check of 186 sex offenders in Lyon County and Fallon resulted in one arrest and 26 people found to not be in compliance with registration requirements, the Nevada Department of Public Safety and Parole and Probation announced Tuesday.

An 18-year-old Carson City man was arrested Friday on felony suspicion of burglary and grand larceny after allegedly breaking into vehicles and then stealing a Lexus. A 14-year-old, also a suspect in the burglaries, was taken into custody after starting a fire inside a patrol car, a Carson City sheriff’s deputy said.

The second suspect connected with a residential burglary that happened last month was arrested Thursday, a Carson City sheriff’s lieutenant said.

Cody Rogers-Shaw was found hiding in a yard in the 1600 block of Marian Street in Carson City at around 11:20 a.m. He was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Carson City Sheriff’s Office Detention Facility.

A 22-year-old Dayton man, wanted in connection with a May 20 residential burglary in Carson City, was arrested Friday in Lyon County and brought back to Carson City where he was booked, a sheriff's deputy said.

The Carson City Sheriff’s Office has identified two suspects in a residential burglary that occurred on Friday, May 20 in Carson City. The suspects, Cody Rogers-Shaw and Matthew Marizza have unrelated arrest warrants and are believed to be in the Carson City, Dayton and Reno areas.
