A 48-year-old Carson City man was arrested early Saturday morning on felony drug trafficking and domestic battery charges after a K9 found a large quantity of methamphetamine outside a home where a woman had been beaten and choked, a Carson City sheriff’s deputy said.

A 45-year-old Carson City woman was arrested Wednesday, 5:28 a.m. in the 1200 block of Woodside Drive on a misdemeanor charge of domestic battery after allegedly hitting her daughter with a wood back scratcher on the left side of her face and then punching and kicking her daughter in the stomach. A Carson City woman was arrested on felony charges of child neglect and possession of a controlled substance after officers learned the woman’s 4-year-old daughter had been stuck with a hypodermic needle, a Carson City sheriff’s deputy said.

Christine Rael, 19, is being held on $41,387 bail. A 26-year-old Dayton man, Joseph Kendall, was also arrested at the woman’s residence, in the 900 block of Woodside Drive, on suspicion of drug trafficking after a backpack with heroin was discovered. His bail has been set at $20,000.

A 21-year-old Carson City man was arrested Wednesday, April 1, 12:55 a.m. in the area of Dan and Roop streets on a misdemeanor charge of probation violation, being out past a court ordered curfew, a Carson City sheriff’s deputy said. Bail: $3,000.

A 27-year-old transient was arrested Wednesday in the 1600 block of Brown Street on felony and gross misdemeanor drug charges after allegedly having prescription pills he was dispensing to another person after having been released from jail, a Carson City sheriff’s deputy said.

A 22-year-old Carson City man was arrested Tuesday and faces of a gross misdemeanor charge of possession of dangerous drugs without a prescription and two misdemeanor charges, using a dangerous drugs to induce euphoria and petit larceny, a Carson City sheriff’s deputy said.

According to the arrest report, the man allegedly ingested a handful of Xanax pills, approximately 30, 2mg pills, that belonged to his roommate.

UPDATE 8:30PM: Among those arrested in connection with the Tuesday morning Carson City shooting in the 1400 block of North Edmonds are: Christopher Maddox, 22, believed to be the only alleged shooter, said Carson City Sheriff Ken Furlong.

Two people, a 39-year-old woman and 35-year-old man were arrested Saturday in the 700 block of Hot Springs Road in Carson City on suspicion of felony burglary. Arrested were Deeanna Sue Byars and James Thomas Rebelez. Each are being held on $20,000 bond, a Carson City sheriff's deputy said.

According to the arrest report, at approximately 2 p.m. an officer was dispatched to 3200 Market Street, Walmart, for a petit larceny report. The officer learned the suspects were walking down Hot Springs Road.

Three Sacramento area women were arrested Saturday in two separate cases involving stolen credit cards, fraud and forgery. Carson City Sheriff’s Office investigators are trying to determine if the cases are related, said Lt. Brian Humphrey.

In the first arrest, officers recovered stolen credit cards, equipment to make credit cards, as well as stolen checks from victims in Douglas County and Sacramento, according to the arrest report.

A 47-year-old Carson City man was arrested Sunday, 12:49 a.m. in the area of Airport Road and Highway 50 on suspicion of misdemeanor DUI and open container in a vehicle, a Carson City sheriff’s deputy said.

According to the arrest report, an officer responded to a report of a man passed out in a running vehicle. Officers arrived to find a red two door sedan with the motor running and the man sitting in the driver’s seat with his head down.

Carson City Sheriff Ken Furlong announced Friday that two more arrests were made overnight in connection with a rash of burglaries spread over Carson City, Washoe and Douglas counties. There's also one person of interest being sought and one person wanted. Four have been arrested thus far.

The new arrests are: Rachel Strull, 28. She is charged with two counts of maintaining a drug house, a felony, and use and possession of drug and paraphernalia, a misdemeanor. Her bail is $10,000. Also in custody is Crystal Bullock (Paetz), 31. She is charged with possession of a control substance, child neglect and endangerment, a gross misdemeanor. Bail $2,500.

A 26-year-old Carson City man was arrested early Wednesday on a felony charge of battery with a deadly weapon after allegedly breaking into a home and striking a man with a metal bat, a Carson City sheriff’s deputy said.

Jose Segovia was arrested at 1:52 a.m. in the 1000 block of North Saliman Road. He also faces charges of gross misdemeanor domestic battery, violation of a protective order, petit larceny and violation of alternative sentencing. He has been arrested four times in a year on domestic battery charges with one conviction.

Deputies who contacted the suicidal subject confirmed she had a knife, but was at first calm. One of the deputies tried to talk her into coming outside without the knife in her hand.

A 42-year-old Carson City man was arrested on drug and weapon charges early Thursday following a traffic stop on Highway 50 East, a Carson City sheriff’s deputy said.

According to the arrest report, an officer made a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of Highway 50 East and Lompa Lane for a rear license plate light not working. The deputy made contact with the driver, Edward William Tucker, who presented a Nevada driver’s license.

A 36-year-old Carson City man was arrested Sunday, 10:21 p.m. on felony suspicion of child abuse. The name of the suspect is being withheld because of the relationship with the juvenile he allegedly abused.
The man is being held on $40,000 bail. According to the arrest report, officers responded to the 1500 block of Firebox Drive in reference to a child abuse report. Officers met with the alleged juvenile victim and a former step mother.

A 27-year-old Carson City man, Bradley Paul Steelmon, was arrested Friday, 2:20 p.m. in the area of 20 College Parkway on a felony warrant, insurance fraud, issued June 9, 2014 out of Tahoe Township Court.

A 45-year-old Reno man was arrested Tuesday after allegedly brandishing a firearm and aiming at a person during a road rage incident in the area of South Carson and Stewart streets, a Carson City sheriff’s deputy said.

Randy Lee Baker was booked on a felony charge, suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and a gross misdemeanor charge of aiming a firearm at a person. Bail was set at $7,500.
