Happy Thursday, Carson City. Kick the weekend off a little early with some live music on the veranda at Adele’s. Living the Good Life welcomes back Jimmy Mallett to the stage to entertain you. Learn something new at the Nevada State Museum: Rick Martin gives a presentation on Gold Dredges. Kick up your cowboy boots at the Ormsby Club or sing your heart out at Jimmy G’s Cigar Bar. Tonight, the Trippin King Snakes help celebrate all the August birthdays at the Carson Cigar Company. Keep reading for all of today’s options.

  • Muscle Powered Easy Hike: Eagle Ridge Trail in Carson Valley - Meet at the secondary parking area for the Clear Creek Trail on Jacks Valley Road about 1/2 mile west of Jacks Valley Elementary School (8am-9:30am; Participants are responsible for their own transportation to the hike meeting site. All walks require closed-toed shoes and water. Hats, sunscreen and walking sticks are recommended)
