Senator Square: CHS Leadership puts 'Love Thy Community' theme to work
Hey Carson City, the Carson High Leadership class is organizing a clean-up day at Mills Park for Thursday, Feb. 26 from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. This month, Carson High Leadership is focusing on Love Thy Community.
So every week, Carson High's Student Council will be encouraging their fellow students to clean up in several different ways: they will be making posters and flyers and putting them up around the school, it will be on the announcements, and every Thursday of Friday they will be passing out a reward when they see other students cleaning up.
If the majority of the school is cleaned during the week, they will get to listen to music at lunch on Fridays. The event on Feb. 26 is open to the community. The students will be providing gloves and trash bags, please come out and show your support for your community!
