At approximately 5:30 p.m. Lyon County investigators assisting in the search for Nike “Toni” Riess located her conscious, alert and injured at the bottom of a ravine in the desert approximately a half mile northeast of where her vehicle was located off of Apache Drive in Stagecoach.

A 29-year-old Carson City woman was arrested Tuesday morning for violating her bail conditions and driving without a valid license after deputies stopped the car she was driving for being without license plates.

When deputies made contact with the woman, they asked if she had a temporary registration card for the vehicle which she said she did not. She did, however, provide insurance for the vehicle.

LTI Educational Commonwealth is pleased to announce our production of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream. The cast is comprised of youth ages 10 and up who have been studying Shakespeare's plays and influence in their class this year.

A 58-year-old man was arrested Saturday for two felony counts of alleged assault with a deadly weapon and misdemeanor drawing a weapon in a threatening manner, according to a Carson City Sheriff's Office booking report.
