Carson City Humane Society's Pet of the Week: D
Happy Wednesday Carson City, I hope you're enjoying the sunshine! I know one gentleman who will be: D, our Pet of the Week!
D is short for D.O.G. and we think he’ll be the paw-fect one for you! D was surrendered to the Carson Shelter in mid-February because his previous owners were moving. He enjoys playing fetch and loves tennis balls.
D is only 9-years-old, a handsome guy with just a small amount of gray around his muzzle. He’s handsome and can’t wait to be your new best friend. He’s still full of life and energy, and would probably do best with an experienced owner to give him structure and enough stimulation for his age. D also has seasonal allergies (like many of us humans right now) but has the right medication to keep himself healthy.
He also knows sit, shake, and high-five, but sometimes is scared of the dark and being left alone for extra long periods of time.
We got an exclusive interview with D, and here’s what he told us: “I am looking for my perfect match. Someone who can help me to settle down and enjoy my golden years. I am up for sunbathing, naps and strolls around the block. I love everything and anything, but especially people! Come meet me today.”
D is another Lonely Hearts Club member so his adoption fees are waived. Come and make this dog’s day by adopting him into your heart and home.
You can meet D by visiting the Carson City branch of the Nevada Humane Society located at 549 Airport Road in Carson City, or by calling (775) 887-2171 to find out more.
