Carson City Farmers Market celebrated National Farmers Market week Saturday at Mills Park

The market was located at Mills Park inside Marv Teixeira Pavillion until 1 p.m. The vendors had options of everything from fresh produce, to exotic meats, baked pastries, jams, honey, art, gems, live plants, and more! There were also food trucks with delicious treats like crepes and live music.
Carson City local teen to compete in two international golf tournaments

Both events bring top golfers from around the world to compete in three day tournaments that test both skill and mental determination.
Carson City Catmandu re-opening delayed until Aug. 25

BGCWN CEO Brett Zunino will be the guest speaker at the luncheon meeting and the public is invited to attend.

The next event is Aug. 13 and will be held in Minden Park, located at 1601 Sixth Street.
At the market there will be local artists, live music, food trucks, mobile bars, a splash pad, bounce houses, water slides, a snuggle farm, child art projects, sensory play, story telling, chalk art, an adventure hunt, giant yard games, the DCSO K-9 unit and other surprises.
