Carson City Farmers Market celebrated National Farmers Market week Saturday at Mills Park
The Carson Farmers Market brought their tradition back today with a celebratory market, put on in honor of National Farmers Market Week.
The market was located at Mills Park inside Marv Teixeira Pavillion until 1 p.m. The vendors had options of everything from fresh produce, to exotic meats, baked pastries, jams, honey, art, gems, live plants, and more! There were also food trucks with delicious treats like crepes and live music.
Today is the last day of National Farmers Market Week, so the Carson Farmers Market held the market to give back to the community in honor of the week.
The market is also aiming to raise money to purchase fresh products from their farmers to donate to Carson City non-profit organizations that support community members and families in need.
Today is the last day to donate. Donate here or stop by the Information Booth in-person at the east entrance of the pavilion, from July 31 through Saturday to donate.
