Carson Farmers Market to celebrate National Farmers Market week, Saturday at Mills Park
The Carson Farmers Market is celebrating National Farmers Market Week on Saturday, Aug. 12 from 8:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. The farmers market is located at 1111 East Williams St. at Mills Park, Marv Teixeira Pavillion.
Since National Farmers Market Week is Aug. 6 to Aug. 12, the Carson Farmers Market is putting on their yearly tradition to come together and give back to the community in honor of the week.
The market aims to raise money to purchase fresh products from their farmers to donate to Carson City non-profit organizations that support community members and families in need.
So far, they've raised $214.41, but they need the community's help to meet their goal of $500 by the end of Farmers Market Week. This is the final week to meet their goal.
Donate here or stop by the Information Booth in-person at the east entrance of the pavilion, from July 31 through Saturday to donate.
The Carson Farmers market thanks the community for being an essential part of their market and joining them in positively impacting the lives of others.
