Auditions for 'Elf, The Musical Jr.' this Friday and Saturday

This show will be directed by Carol Scott, musically directed by Alan Catron, choreographed by Robin Kato, and produced by Pat Josten – the same team who brought you Disney’s Aladdin, Jr.
New Stage in Silver City Adds to Comstock’s Live Music and Theater Venues

The festival style public event was held to celebrate the much anticipated addition of a new outdoor stage to the region's arts and music scene.
Nevada recycled art contest underway, submissions due Oct. 23
Submitted by editor on Sun, 08/21/2016 - 7:32pmCARSON CITY, NV – The Nevada Recycles program has partnered with The Venetian and The Palazzo in Las Vegas to support a statewide recycled art contest to increase Nevadans’ awareness and interest in recycling.
Entrants must be Nevada residents and projects must be composed of used recyclable materials. Submission of an entry form and photos of artwork are due by October 23, 2016.

An in-depth presentation of the origin, operations and economics of giant land based gold dredges from the turn of the 20th century to their decline mid-century, and limited operations in the 1980-1990s.

Always great antiques in furniture and lots of collectibles. This is a great place to sell those treasures you have at an indoor venue. His illustrated talk, "Outside In", is next in CCAI’s Nevada Neighbors series. The talk will take place at 7pm at the Community Development building, the BRIC, 108 E Proctor St, Carson City. There will be an informal reception for di Maria preceding the event at 6:15pm. The presentation and reception are free, and the public is cordially invited.
