Elegant Evening with Reno Chamber Orchestra

The Reno Chamber Orchestra presents an elegant evening of chamber music. The event will include performances by Ruth Lenz, John Lenz, Peter Lenz, Carol Laube, Kati Dayner and Dustin Budish who will be playing the music of Mozart and Brahms.

The event will be followed by champagne and desserts that will be provided by Franz Backstube. Must RSVP by Monday June 13th. The event is $100 per person.

The 18th Annual Sands EuroFest Benefits Shriners Hospital

The Sands Regency’s 18th Annual EuroFest brings together free, live entertainment, a wide variety of European cuisine, more than 70 European and craft beers and a multitude of craft booths to provide Reno with a fun-filled celebration of culture for all ages. It is free to attend the event and proceeds benefit the Shriners Hospitals for Children.

New concert series set to begin in Carson City

The Brewery Arts Center, in partnership with the Municipality of Carson City and the Levitt Amp Foundation, is introducing a brand-new live music concert series to the Nevada state capital starting Saturday, June 4 and running ten consecutive weeks through August 6.

Carson City Greenhouse Project fundraiser to feature funk-soul supergroup Tower of Power

Midnight Madness has descended upon the valley, bringing with it a 72 hour softball tournament at Centennial Park. Don’t be surprised to see more cyclists on the road: an unofficial pre-ride for Epic Rides is this weekend. Head to the Nevada State Railroad Museum to see the Glenbrook all steamed up. The Capital City Arts Initiative [CCAI] announces its exhibition, New Crop 2016, by five artists from Sierra Nevada College and the University of Nevada Reno at the CCAI Courthouse Gallery. CCAI will host a reception for the artists on Friday, June 3, 5-7pm and the artists will give brief talks about their work at 5:30pm. The show will be open to the public Monday – Friday, 8am -5pm from June 3 – September 29, 2016. The Courthouse is located at 885 E Musser Street, Carson City. 'Stagecoach' is a 1939 American Western film starring Claire Trevor and John Wayne in his breakthrough role. Director John Ford combined action, drama, humor, and a set of well-drawn characters in the story of a group of strangers riding on a stagecoach through dangerous Apache territory.
