Love/Sick consists of 9 scenes about love and loss -- but mostly loss. Each scene tells the story of a couple at the crossroads of their relationship.
Casting for this show is a minimum of 2 Men and 2 Women between the ages of 20-65, with a maximum cast of 9 Men and 9 Women.

BOO-NANAZA 2017

This event will be held on Wednesday, October 25 from 4-6 PM at the Community Center, Library, and Aquatic Facility. BOO-NANZA is a free, safe, and spooky environment for children to participate in Halloween fun. The first 100 participants will receive a bag to use for trick or treating.

Hundreds of people have come out to enjoy the community atmosphere, as well as the variety that Carson City’s Food Trucks offer. The BAC creates a long table so families and friends can get to know their neighbors as they break bread.
“When you share food with each other, you build trust, you build community and that is one of the things people enjoy about it”, says BAC Production Manager Jeffrey Fast.

Admission is $1 for adults and kids are free under 18. Lots of parking. We feature lots of great vendors selling knives, food, crafts, antiques, collectibles and jewelry and so much more. You never know what you will find. But you will have a good time.
Saturday's Downtown Carson City Beer Crawl a success
Submitted by editor on Mon, 08/21/2017 - 10:58amA downpour of rain Saturday didn't keep a thirsty bunch from attending the 2017 Carson City Beer Crawl hosted by the Brew Crew and sponsored by Firestone 805 beer.
It was a great time as crawlers braved the downpour, stopping at a dozen downtown Carson City locations. Lots of great raffle prizes were given away at the end and, as you can see in the photos, smiles all around.

The show features Buffalo Bill Cody, Wild Bill Hickok, Calamity Jane, Annie Oakley, the Pony Express, The Mayfield Gang and the 1st Nevada Cavalry. The Douglas High School Marching Band and western singer-songwriter Krista Jenkins return for a second year to draw the audience back in time to the frontier of the American West.
