Submitted by Danielle Cook on Fri, 10/14/2016 - 6:49pmI’m usually a lover of sunny days, but right now I say bring on the rain. The moisture is a welcome help to our heroic firefighters in Lake Tahoe and Washoe Valley. Because of the wet weather and the recent fires, some activities have been postponed: most notably the Advocates to End Domestic Violence’s Annual Light After Dark Run. There are still plenty of things to occupy your time, but the weather may force more cancellations.

What Works: What I learned about business through paranormal investigating
Submitted by editor on Mon, 10/10/2016 - 7:24pmInspiration can come from anywhere. Sometimes, business lessons come flying at me faster than I can take notes about them. Ideas are sort of like orbs. Some you can’t see unless you are looking for them. Some people believe in them, some don’t. Yet they are always a topic of discussion. The orbs were flying like crazy at The St. Charles Hotel this past weekend.
