Residents have until Oct. 21 to enter raffle for retired 'Welcome to Nevada' road signs

The Nevada Department of Transportation is reminding Nevada residents that there is one month left to enter a raffle to receive a “Welcome to Nevada” sign as the old, obsolete highway signs are redesigned and replaced.

The iconic signs depicting a lone prospector have stood at many interstate and freeway entrances into Nevada, welcoming drivers to the state for approximately 25 years.

What Works: Burned out on sales? Do you believe in what you are selling?

I saw a meme on Facebook the other day. It was a woman with glowing, soulless eyes. The meme read, “the look you get when you have been in sales too long.” It was posted by a career salesman who felt soulless doing what he does for a living. My question to him was this. Do you believe in what you are selling? His answer: no.
If you don’t believe in what you are selling, you are going to face challenges.

But that's exactly what happened Sunday morning at Riverview Park off East Fifth Street in Carson City when dozens of canines and their humans participated in CASI's annual 5K9 Run/Walk.
