This is an event like no other, where agencies who work in areas of public health and safety gather at Mills Park to meet with Carson City residents. This event features 3 hours of information booths, games, demonstrations, food and fun. Also happening Tuesday is a free robotics mini-camp for kids in nearby Silver City, Reciprocity Inc. will host a fundraiser at Rustically Divine, there's the Culinary Traveler’s Club's Polynesian Paradise featured at Bleu Café; the Carson City Classic Cinema Club will feature a Sci-Fi favorite at the BAC, plus fitness outings and more. Acrylic Pour Jewelry Making Class at Rustically Divine

Create modern-abstract fluid effects with acrylic pouring in three separate pendants, one silver chain included. “Anyone can do this!” says Dana Childs, who will teach the class.
The fee is $45 and includes supplies.
Note: pourings will need to be left overnight to cure, and be assembled, please plan to pick up artwork as soon as possible.

For summer’s most visible meteor showers, join the Carson City Parks, Rec and Open Space Department at Western Nevada College’s Jack C. Davis Observatory for some late night, educational fun. No pre-registration necessary. Please wear close-toed shoes and bring water for night hiking from the Observatory. Head lamps and flashlights are allowed. Parking at the Observatory can be found at 2699 Vanpatten Ave, Carson City. Please call (775) 281-7711 with any questions. This upcoming Monday is the Aquariids Viewing Party starting at 12:00 a.m. Tuesday (technically Monday night).
