The Carson City Fire Department was called Monday afternoon to a structure fire in the 3200 block of Woodside Drive.
The came came into dispatch at around 1:45 p.m. of a possible structure fire at a two-story duplex unit. The fire was extinguished by the time firefighters arrived.

Carson City reactivates Emergency Management Operations Center due to flash flooding

Flash floods early Wednesday morning prompted the Carson City Emergency Management Operations Center to reactivate, officials said.

Carson City Fire Department, Sheriff's Office and Public Works have responded to multiple areas where flash flooding is underway, said Fire Chief Bob Schreihans. The National Weather Service in Reno has issued a Flash Flood Warning until 5:45 a.m. Wednesday for Carson City and Douglas County.

UPDATE 5:15PM: A fire started in a mobile home shortly before 4:30 p.m. Saturday has been knocked down, according to the Carson City Fire Department.
Several engines were on scene Saturday afternoon to battle a blaze that had fully engulfed a home in a mobile home park on Tiger Drive in Carson City.
NV Energy and Southwest Gas utility trucks had also arrived on scene to shut off utilities to the residence.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
