Carson City Fire Department called to structure fire on Pratt Street

UPDATE 11:01AM: Carson City Fire Department firefighters have knocked down the structure fire at 216 Pratt Street. Utility agencies are arriving at the scene. The cause of the fire is under investigation. No injuries were reported.

Carson City Fire Department was called just before 10:30 a.m. Saturday morning to a structure fire at 216 Pratt Street across from Musser and Telegraph.
Smoke and flames are visible at the structure and multiple fire engines have been called to the scene. Firefighters were able to make entry into the home with water hoses and were able to knock down a big portion of the fire. No injuries have been reported and everyone inside the house was evacuated.
According to the battalion chief via dispatch, outside agencies that had been called to respond have been called back and now remain on standby.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
