Carson City emergency crews respond to three-vehicle crash at Highway 50 and Lompa Lane
Carson City Fire Department and sheriff's deputies were called Saturday evening to a crash involving three vehicles near the intersection of Highway 50 East and Lompa Lane.
The crash was called in by a Carson City Sheriff' Office sergeant at 5:37 p.m. Fire Department and the Nevada Highway Patrol have also responded.
One vehicle had airbag deployment, however none of the vehicle occupants sustained serious injuries. One woman was being evaluated for chest pain and an ambulance has been requested. All three vehicles had moderate damage.
Traffic is being diverted around the crash scene, which is in the westbound lane, said CCSO Sgt. Scott McDaniel. The westbound lane to the I-580 ramp was temporarily closed. Motorists can expect delays.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
