Larry Hicks, 74, told the deputy he had been in the canyon for a couple of days and was suffering from severe dehydration.

A 31 year-old Carson City woman was arrested Friday evening at 6:08 p.m. in the 3800 block of South Carson following an investigation into allegations that she had faked her child's death in order to profit from it.
