It's Your City: Light After Dark Carson City focuses on domestic violence, sexual assault awareness
In this edition of It's Your City, host Cortney Bloomer talks with Traci Trenoweth from Advocates to End Domestic Violence and the Sexual Assault Response Advocates about the annual Light After Dark benefit 5K and 10K walk and run featured this Saturday, Oct. 20 at Riverview Park in Carson City.
Advocates to End Domestic Violence is a crisis shelter in Carson City for victims and families of domestic and sexual violence. See the video interview below or go here.
The walk and run path will be illuminated with lights as you walk and run around the Carson River. Children and kids in strollers are welcome. Walk and Run festivities begin at 6 p.m. AEDV invites all to dress up and get a group of your friends together and join as a team. If you have questions please call Traci at 883-7654.

The event is $35 for adults, $15 for children and $10 Carson High School students and faculty. The price increases $5 day of the event. Riverview Park is located Riverview Park at the end of 5th Street.
