'Who's Your Paddy?' Carson City St. Patrick's Day Film Crawl set for Saturday
The St. Paddy's Film Crawl is a filmmaking competition that combines filmmakers with local businesses. Films are either short documentary or mockumentary and are between 1 and 10 minutes long. The event is hosted by the Brewery Arts Center, Wired Wednesday and Carson TV. The crawl is open to everyone, and includes film viewing, specials, entertainment and more.
Participants are encouraged to go from business to business, listed below, watch the films choose the best films and vote on Facebook between 4 and 10 pm on March 14. Go here for the Facebook page.
Audience Choice will be announced after close of voting Saturday night, March 14 at the BAC and Judged award will be announced on St. Patricks Day March 17 on Facebook.
Join the party at the BAC. All films will be shown at the BAC blackbox theater (449 W. King St) from 4- 10 pm, in rotation.
There are at least two family friendly businesses, so if you children and teens, you can still participate in the crawl.

Paradise Productions film" St. Patrick's Makeover" @ The Blue Bull (107 E Telegraph St.)
Chronofied Productions film "LDP" @ Comma Coffee (312 S Carson St.)
Smashing Art's film " Miss Carson City..." @ Lake Tahoe Brewing Company (302 N Carson St.)
All films @ The Brewery Arts Center Black Box Theatre (449 W. King St.)
Anyone can make their two votes of their two favorite films on the "Digital Arts Factory & Wired Wednesday at Carson TV Facebook page here. Yes, viewers can vote for two different films.
Voting for more than two films on the Facebook page will cancel out the entry. So vote for up to two films.
ONLY VOTES MADE DURING THE CRAWL TIME PERIOD WILL BE COUNTED.
Cumulative votes count: Vote tallies will be done at the BAC at 10 p.m. and the Audience Choice winner will be announced. First in person at the BAC, then on the Facebook page. You don't have to be present to win, but it is encouraged because of the activities and features lined up for the evening. Popcorn, sodas and beer will be available at the after party and anyone is encouraged to bring snacks to share.
