Carson City Cooperative Extension 4-H seeks members who love fun, learning
Carson City 4-H programs, brought to you through the University of Nevada Cooperative Extension, have new and on-going project clubs open to area youth ages 5–18.
Carson Clover Buds, for ages 5–8 years of age, takes members on a STEAM learning experience throughout the year. Members can help select their next meeting topic.
Some field trips introduce members to other STEAM activities throughout the area and community service events. The club meets at the UNCE conference room, 2621 Northgate Lane, Suite 12, the first Friday of the month from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
Bouncing Bunnies 4-H Rabbit club is back and ready to grow. Members aged 7-18 learn how to purchase a rabbit, proper handling, housing, health, breeding and showing.
Members who join within the next month will be eligible to show their rabbit at the Carson City Fair, July 25–28. The club meets once a month, the second Wednesday of each month, at Fuji Park Exhibit Hall from 6:30-8 p.m.

Showing includes showmanship, agility and rally. Potential members must have a dog to join. The 4-H Volunteer leader is a local dog trainer with years of experience.
The club meets the first three Thursdays of the month at Fuji Park Exhibit Hall from 6-7 p.m. Please call the UNCE office to be put in contact with the leader, 775 887-2252. Members are encouraged to participate in the dog show that takes place during Carson City Fair.
