Two fierce female grapplers from Carson High School made history as they both took home championship titles at the state’s first-ever sanctioned all-girls regional wrestling tournament.

This Saturday, Feb. 4 at 2 p.m., Wylder Resort Hope Valley continues its history speaker series with a 50 minute presentation, Into the Jaws of Hell.

The Lyon County Sheriff's Office issued a "shelter in place" warning Wednesday afternoon for a Fernley subdivision due to a standoff with LCSO after reports of a man shooting a firearm and yelling at people.
