December gaming revenue up statewide, down in Carson City and South Shore Tahoe
Casinos in Carson City, Minden, Gardnerville and all other areas of Douglas County except for south shore Tahoe saw gaming revenue, also called "gaming win" down 6.49 percent for the last month of the year. Gaming revenue generated for the month was $10,314,291 compared to $11,029,980 in December 2021.
Casinos at south shore Lake Tahoe, which includes the Stateline casino core, reported at 15.71 decrease compared to December 2021. Gaming revenue generated for the month was $15,651,871 compared to $18,569,338 in December 2021.
Nevada’s nonrestricted gaming licensees reported a total “gaming win” of $1,314,478,876 for the month of December 2022. This amounts to a 14.30 percent increase compared to December 2021, when licensees reported a gaming win of $1,149,986,166.
Elsewhere, casinos in Washoe County, Reno, Sparks all posted "gaming win" increases.
