Carson City Humane Society's Pet of the Week: Gidson
Happy February, Carson City! Our Pet of the Week is none other than Gidson, a sweet senior Shepherd mix.
This 10-year-old pooch has been in our shelter since late November and is not only a staff favorite, but a member of the Lonely Hearts Club too.
As a member, he is free to adopt as those in this club are pets with the greatest need of getting into fur-ever homes ASAP.
Gidson is a very good boy and because of this distinction, he does not want to share the title. He is king of his house, which means no other pets should live there with him too.
We got to sit (and stay) for an exclusive interview with Gidson and here’s what he had to say:
“Let me tell you a few things about myself: I love to play in the snow and catch snowballs. I also love snuggles and just hanging out with my people. I do have to let you know I don’t always do well with fellow four legged furry friends, but you should come on down to the shelter and meet me!”
You can meet Gidson by visiting the Carson City branch of the Nevada Humane Society located at 549 Airport Road in Carson City, or by calling (775) 887-2171 to find out more.
