'Coffee with Lisa:' Join Carson City Ward 4 Supervisor every second Wednesday to discuss the city, issues, and more
Submitted by Carson Now Reader on Fri, 01/27/2023 - 3:00pmCarson City Ward 4 Supervisor Lisa Schuette will begin holding a monthly Coffee with Lisa on Wednesday, February 8, from 7 to 8 am at the Cracker Box restaurant.
Everyone is welcome to come and discuss issues they care about.
Schuette will be holding the coffee gatherings on the second Wednesday of each month.
Senior Spotlight: Carson High’s Skylar Crittendon Draws up Success

Skylar currently has a 4.2 GPA and has taken Honors, AP and Jump Start classes. As an artist, she enjoys drawing and painting using acrylics. Neo-realism is her favorite painting style, and she draws or paints every day.

This six-year-old tabby lives up to his name once he’s comfortable enough to come out of his shell. Snuggles is handsome and quite photogenic and our staff learns more and more about him every day.

Taboo loves people and thrives on attention. She is super affectionate and would gladly sit on your lap and be petted and kissed all day long. She also likes to assist at the computer and “help” me type. Taboo is currently Catmandu’s greeter and she is very good at her job.

Carson City Moose Lodge hosts Beer & Brats

For just a $10 ticket, one can get a freshly grilled brat and two draft beers. A raffle will be held every half hour from noon to 3 p.m. Proceeds will support the Friends of Sutro Tunnel.
