Carson City's FISH Food Bank needs your grocery bags
Carson City's FISH (Friends In Service Helping) is calling for community donations of grocery bags for use in their food bank.
FISH provides a community food bank Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Carson City location, located at 138 E. Long Street.
In addition, FISH also provides a dining hall Monday through Saturday from 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. and on Sunday from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Monetary and food donations of non-perishable are always appreciated at the food bank, and currently, they are in need of grocery bags to better serve the community.
Please be sure that the bags are in usable condition and free from holes, tears, or broken handles.
Plastic bags, paper bags, and reusable bags are all acceptable.
Please drop off your bags at FISH Monday through Friday at 138 E. Long Street in Carson City.
