Annual CASI Bark, Whine and Dine event set for July 9

There will be silent auction items galore. Join CASI for a fun filled night as they raise money to help build a play yard for the new animal shelter. Tickets are on sale now for $30.
Focus on Carson photography banner to be installed Wednesday at Curry and Telegraph

The banner displays 20 photographs taken in Carson City by local artists. The public is invited to attend and help hang the banner.
Dana Andrews stars in the World War II Classic, A Walk in the Sun

Dana Andrews stars as Sgt. Tyne, a platoon squad leader who assumes command of his platoon as they trudge through the Italian countryside in search of a bridge they have been ordered to blow up encountering danger and destruction along the way.
General admission $5; Senior/Student $3; Free for members. Doors open at 6:00pm with trivia and discussion at 6:30pm. The film begins at 7:00pm at The Brewery Arts Center Performance Hall, 511 W. King Street.

In “Train to Danger,” railroad heiresses, the Pullman sisters, are stranded in a snowstorm in Hidden Gulch. Handsome engineer, Tom Truetrack is to see to their safety during their trip home.

Youth Theatre Carson City to hold auditions Saturday for Legally Blonde, Jr.

The theatre company is looking for actors, singers, and dancers grades K-12. The show will run six performances, July 29-August 7, 2016 in the Bob Boldrick Theatre at the Carson City Community Center.
