Through this exhibit, visitors will enjoy a visual display of media technological leaps.
Mark Gandolfo, lead curator and Director of Digital Media Technology, stated "It is fascinating to view the analog to digital evolution in media production technology through these artifacts on display. Students are amazed at the size and amount of equipment needed for past high quality multimedia production."

Night in the County music festival organizers announce additional artists for 2016

The festival, set for July 21 – 23 at the Lyon County Fairgrounds in Yerington, has also added Phil Vassar and Josh Abbott Band to the 2016 lineup.

We are looking for actors, singers, and dancers grades K-12, who will be cast to play all the classic characters including Alice, The White Rabbit, The Mad Hatter, The Cheshire Cat, and of course, The evil Queen of Hearts – plus a host of other colorful characters.

The program opens with Felix Mendelssohn’s symphonic choral masterpiece Elijah, Part 2, featuring vocal soloists Anna Helwing, Joy Strotz, and Becky Earl, sopranos; Liudmila Mullin, mezzo soprano; Brad Perry and Sherman Modeste, tenor; and Stuart Duke, Chris Nelson and Chris Langton, baritones.
Carson Chamber singers to begin rehearsals Tuesday for March concerts

Youth Theatre Carson City presents 'The Wiz' Friday through Sunday at Community Center

The play, a seven-time Tony Award-winning Broadway musical based on Dorothy Gale’s adventures in the Land of Oz, runs through Jan. 17 in the Bob Boldrick Theatre. It features a mixture of rock, gospel and soul music numbers.
