Mile High Summer Jazz Camp prepares June 7-13 run in Carson City

King St., in Carson City. Beginning and advanced sessions are open to students from Carson City and surrounding areas in northern Nevada and California.
Carson Valley Trails Association Celebrates National Trails Day on June 3

Events are planned at two trails - the Fay-Luther Trail in Gardnerville and the Bently Heritage Trail in Minden.
Western Nevada College Motorcycle Rider Course

BRC -Learn how to ride a motorcycle in 2 1/2 days & earn your MSF completion card for a Nevada endorsement.
BRC II - This intermediate course has two functions – a license waiver for those who are currently riding or a Skills Waiver to update your skills.
ARC - for students who hold a Class M endorsement & want to hone their skill, understand their risk tolerance, etc.

Just make sure you register online to participate. Today is relatively quiet around town: we always have some great art exhibits to discover, but not too many planned events. DJ Trivia Night at Westside Pour House pits your smarts against other teams while surrounded by good food and drink. Jazz at Living the Good Life will put some swing in your step for the next few days.

2017 Carson River Watershed 'Get on the Bus' Tour
