Preserve Nevada honors contributors to Silver State's historic preservation

U.S. Citizenship Study Classes

WNC Continuing Education offers Watercolor Exploration class

In each 4-week class, we will explore several different approaches to watercolor. We will also investigate art fundamental topics concentrating on one topic per 4-week session.
Students may choose their own subjects, with instructor input as to relevance based on individual skill level. Supplies required.
Zumba classes offered through WNC Continuing Education

Zumba involves dance and aerobic movements performed to energetic Latin and pop music from countries around the world. The choreography incorporates hip hop, soca, samba, salsa, meringue and mambo.
Squats and lunges are also included. Students should wear comfortable clothing and tennis shoes, and bring a towel, water and a positive attitude! No prior dance experience is required - Zumba is about making friends, getting a workout, and enjoying yourself!

Carson City man held for false imprisonment, other charges following apartment incident

A woman also faces a misdemeanor charge of obstructing an officer.
'Star Wars' themed bicycle event Saturday to benefit Carson City Schools Foundation

Sponsored by Carson Tahoe Health and hosted by the Carson City School District, the Nevada Department of Transportation, Safe Routes to School, local bike clubs and shops, the inaugural event will serve as a proving ground to acquaint experienced and less experienced bike riders with their eco-friendly transport mechanisms.
