Take a ride with him at the Nevada State Railroad Museum, join him on the ‘Elf Crawl’ from the Capitol to the Carson Mall, or tell him your wish list at Debug Computers. Adults have a hard choice to make: the monthly downtown wine walk and the Holiday with a Hero Pub Crawl both take place today, and I’m not sure I’d recommend attempting both.

The National Weather Service states that snow is expected later tonight in the Carson City area, with the possibility of periods of heavy snow. We encourage drivers to exercise caution as road conditions can become dangerous.
Carson City courthouse open, Meals on Wheels resumes Tuesday, evacuation shelter to close

Welfare checks are being made on those seniors who th participate in the program. The Senior Center will open at 9 a.m. on Tuesday and will resume normal operations.

Fire agencies called to large structure fire in Dayton
Submitted by Jeff Munson on Wed, 07/27/2016 - 12:39pmUPDATE 5:17PM: Central Lyon County Fire District reports that both homes in Wednesday's fire in Dayton have been destroyed. Units from surrounding fire agencies remain on scene doing mop up operations.
Central Lyon County Fire confirms two bystanders were transported to a local hospital for possible smoke related injuries. The American Red Cross is assisting one family of three and a local church is assisting the other family of three to four people. The cause of the fire is being investigated by the Nevada State Fire Marshals Office.

Karen was born Oct. 23, 1948 in Huntington Beach, California to Roger Kerley and Lindalee (Plumleigh) Kerley. She graduated at Marine High School Class of 1966 and earned her Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy at UCLA College.
